Got Questions? We’ve Got You Covered.
We receive many questions about our work. We have posted our top questions here, but if your question is not mentioned here, please use our contact us form.
Do we do custom work?
Yes, we ask for a clear description of what you are looking for, even pictures or sketches help. We then draw something up as a starting point and send you a screenshot. From there, we can modify/alter or cut as is. We want to make sure you are satisfied with your product.
How do you hang them?
There are many options. Depending on where you plan to hang/mount it, you can use trim nails, command Velcro tape, screws, or double-sided tape.
How do you cut the signs?
We use a CNC (Computer Numerical Control) Plasma cutter. The plasma cutter can cut up to 1” thick, and our table is 5’x10’.
Can you cut more than steel?
In theory, we can cut anything conductive. We have cut copper, brass, aluminum, and steel.
Do you sell steel?
Yes, we do. We carry a variety of square tubing, angles, flat bars, and plates in stock, and we can order anything you need.
What thickness of steel do you use for your signs?
We typically use 16-gauge steel, which works great for signs. For larger signs, we use 14-gauge steel and 11-gauge steel.
Do you offer different sizes?
We can make most designs larger, but making them smaller usually results in less detail.
What else do you do?
We can make almost anything from steel, from signs and fire pits to stairs, railings, gates, beams, and columns. We are certified by the CWB (Canadian Welding Bureau), which holds our welding to the highest standards.
Will my metal product rust?
Most of our products are powder-coated; the few exceptions will be noted. Powder coating is a process in which a powder is electrostatically sprayed onto the metal and then cured in an oven, usually between 350 and 420 degrees. If there are no blemishes exposing bare metal, your product is protected from the elements.
